Updated May 27, 2018

Odds are, at some point you’ll have an employee who is struggling to meet the requirements of their role. The person is not meeting expectations, is struggling to meet his or her individual objectives, and is not delivering the level of performance required for the position. While this can be frustrating, performance conversations can be a key part of improving these situations and the success of your team member. This course will teach you how to make necessary adjustments in order to best discuss the person’s performance and identify the actions that can be taken to help the person be successful going forward. By completing this course, you will know what you must do to conduct performance development discussions with your struggling performers. This course is part of Vado's Performance Management and Development Toolkit which has been approved for 1.25 hours of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) Professional Development Credits (PDCs), as well as 1.25 hours of HRCI (HR Certification Institute) recertification credits.
