Portfolio Management: Diversification and Asset Portfolios

The risk of a portfolio of assets is more complex than the risk of individual assets. Therefore, diversification is often used to reduce independent risks through a portfolio, or group, of assets. Here we look at common and independent risk, stock portfolio diversification, and the standard deviation of a portfolio.
