Plataformas suspensas e plataformas tesoura - Global (Aerial and Scissor Lifts - Global Portuguese)

Course Description 

Nem sempre trabalhamos com algo que está ao nosso alcance. Às vezes, precisamos de uma ajuda. Em alguns casos, usamos escadas, em outros, andaimes fixos, e também há situações em que usamos equipamentos móveis, como plataformas suspensas (também chamadas de plataformas com lança articulada/cesto) e plataformas tesoura. O trabalho seguro com esse último tipo de equipamento será o foco deste curso. O público-alvo inclui funcionários que trabalham sobre ou ao redor de plataformas suspensas e plataformas tesoura.

Course Objectives 

• Identify different types of mobile equipment to use when your work is out of reach
• Explain the importance of lift and site inspection before use
• Recognize causes of falls from mobile equipment
• Describe precautions to help prevent falls, tip-over and catapulting
• Identify hazards such as contact with power lines or other moving equipment
