Medicines in Pregnancy: The Basics

This 1 hour interactive course provides an introduction to the risks associated with taking some medications in pregnancy.

Participants will learn the basics of physiological changes that occur during pregnancy that effect medications and will gain an insight into the limitations of research about the effects of some medications in pregnancy. The course teaches the Australian categories for prescribing medicines in pregnancy.
