Manual Handling Healthcare - Non Clinical

Course Overview 

This course is one part of a six part series aimed at manual handling in the health care industry. It looks at how manual handling affects the non clinical area of the health care industry.

• Plan ahead and use a trolley safely
• Set up your workstation ergonomically
• Control the risks associated with various working positions and frequent muscle use

Aimed at those working in the non clinical areas of hospitals and aged care facilities.

Business Outcomes  

There can be a substantial amount of lifting, pushing and pulling required in the non clinical areas of a hospital. However, with a little forethought, improved technique and some planning, the required manual handling can be relatively risk free.
