This course covers how to identify and manage common poisoning cases while waiting for proper medical help to arrive. Poisoning is more common than many people realise, and can include bites and stings, needle injuries, and ingesting poisonous liquids. Please note this is not a nationally accredited course and provides no formal qualifications.

This online course will provide you with the theory to apply first relating to poisons.

It includes:

  • 1 x eLearning module covering some of the key principles relating to the management of poisons
  • 1 x online quiz where you have an opportunity to apply the information presented in the eLearning module to test your knowledge.

This course is designed for anyone who would like to learn about the correct management of poisons but doesn't need a qualification.
