Go1 statement on the Workplace Gender Equality Agency’s (WGEA) employer gender pay gap reporting
Go1 statement on the Workplace Gender Equality Agency’s (WGEA) employer gender pay gap reporting

As Go1 has an international workforce, we believe it is important to share our global and company-wide metrics as team members employed by the Go1 Pty Ltd entity represent less than one third of the company. Globally, our gender pay gap is 4.9% as of February 2024 (the reported comparison is 19.2%). The gender composition by pay quartile also differs on a global level. The numbers are more equally distributed and a closer reflection of Go1’s total workforce percentage:

  • Total workforce: 46% women, 54% men (AU comparison: 45% / 55%)
  • Upper Quartile: 42% women, 58% men (AU comparison: 30% / 70%)
  • Upper Middle Quartile: 35% women, 65% men (AU comparison: 39% / 61%)
  • Lower Middle Quartile: 45% women, 55% men (AU comparison: 49% / 51%)
  • Lower Quartile: 48% women, 52% men (AU comparison: 61% / 39%)

Additionally, we believe it is helpful to share the following metrics based on our global workforce:

  • We employ 64 female leaders and 56 male leaders.
  • In the last 12 months, internal mobility was highest for women (35 team members), followed by men (32 team members).
  • In the same period, 5.3% of female team members were promoted compared to 4.1% of male team members.

To address any gender inequality within Go1, we are committed to:

  • Closely monitoring these metrics over time through regular pay equity audits,
  • Using frameworks and formal policies to guide decision making,
  • Taking corrective action where necessary to reduce any legacy disparities, and
  • Promoting opportunities where available for our employees.
