Common Errors

Here are some common errors that you might encounter.

Error message: “Incorrect SCORM file format”

This happens for interactive learning objects when the system doesn’t recognise the file you’ve uploaded as a valid SCORM format. If you’ve definitely added the right file: remove the file by clicking the red button, refresh the page, and try again.

Error message: “Can not import scorm file to scorm engine”

This long error message usually means there was some sort of issue during the upload, such as a timeout or lost connection. To fix, just click the red button to remove the file, refresh the page and add your file again.

I added my file, but it never started uploading

If your file is a document, make sure the file extension is all in lowercase letters, for example .pdf not .PDF

This can also happen if the file path for the content is too long. Try shortening the file name, or moving it to your desktop and dragging and dropping it from there.
