OKRs enable teams to simultaneously focus on what needs doing here and now, while staying aligned with objectives and broader company strategy.
Any team can apply OKRs by choosing 3-5 key objectives that support the business strategy, and for each, 3-5 key results to measure the success of the objectives. OKRs sharpen up activities and ways to achieve the organization’s strategy. By classifying and executing specific plans and activities on a quarterly basis, key results are more readily obtained, and objectives for that quarter suddenly come within reach.
