Course DescriptionThis course is designed to help you achieve a general awareness of the risks associated with working in conditions in which heat stress and illness can occur. This course highlights practices that workers and employers can apply to ensure proper protection from heat, including pre-work preparations, personal protective equipment (PPE), and training. In addition, this course provides first-response measures to take in the event that a worker experiences heat stress or illness.
