Hybrid spaces blending private and public spaces offer improved and novel prospects for collaboration. Randome conversations are more likely to happen in these areas and yet there are private areas for individual or small group meetings.

Physical layout can:
• Contribue to the 'vibe' and culture
• Contribute to collaboration, especially hybrid spaces
• The 'overlap zone' encourages people to bump into each other
• Provide private areas for small collaborative discussions
