Of all the people issues faced by managers, harassment and discrimination are probably the most common. There are numerous pitfalls associated with managing these issues and because managers are generally unaware of their responsibilities, they run a very real risk of finding themselves in very hot water when situations of harassment and discrimination occur.

The purpose of this course is to provide managers with the critical information they need in order to deal effectively with the potential threat of harassment and discrimination in their day to day work activities, avoid claims of discriminatory harassment, and maintain a productive work environment.

Anatomy of Discrimination
Whilst sexual harassment is the most well known type of harassment, workplace discrimination can take many forms.  This module defines  the full range of discriminatory behaviors recognized by the courts  and outlines the risks to an organization of not reacting appropriately when discrimination rears its head.  A short quiz completes the module.
