Understanding Affirmative Action

Welcome to ‘Understanding Affirmative Action,’ a video lesson meant to explain the genesis of affirmative action and provide an overview of what it means today. This lesson is the first of three in the ‘Affirmative Action in the Workplace’ video course meant to describe what affirmative action is and how it must be addressed at your organization. From this lesson, viewers will learn about the origin of affirmative action and to be compliant with organizational affirmative action. That way, employees will begin to understand how to use affirmative action to mitigate and prevent discrimination from occurring at work.
