Everyone needs to communicate assertively, not aggressively or non-assertively. There is no room for aggressive behavior at work. Respectful, assertive behaviors at work are essential for cohesive teams.

This program is aimed at helping everyone communicate effectively and assertively, respecting other people’s rights and their own rights. It will help those who are not assertive to stand up for themselves and their rights – it is all about the way they think. This course will provide skills and strategies for people to build and develop their communication skills and self-esteem so they can be more confident at work.

• We all have a range of positive and negative thoughts and ‘messages’, some messages are voiced some remain as underlying thoughts
• We all have the power to choose our own mood and attitudes and we can switch on positive assertive messages if we choose
