Welcome to the topic of continuous quality improvement (CQI)! This video course, "Six Sigma: A Method for Eliminating Defects," provides strategies for reducing variance and eliminating defects to optimize productivity at your organization. The six video lessons in this series provide a baseline knowledge of Six Sigma, then delve deeper to describe why Six Sigma is important and explain how to successfully implement it in an organization. Viewers will learn variation and the 6Ms, along with how to gauge control using a run control chart. Furthermore, they will learn how to use the "5 Whys" technique to conduct root cause analysis, as well as how to use DMAIC to actually plan and implement critical changes. Finally, learners will come to understand other methods for developing new processes or products that perform at the Six Sigma level.
