Course Overview

Trident Shield’s School Active Assailant Readiness Training course for Faculty and Staff teaches you how to prepare for, prevent, and survive a violent event at your school.  Through the use of emotional intelligence, high-quality video, interactive elements, and quizzes, you will learn how to apply our Four-Part Readiness Program: Prepare, Escape, Hide, Defend by focusing on the core concepts of prevention and preparation. Learn how to recognize signs of potential violence in a student and steps to take to prevent an attack from ever occurring, as well as essential skills that you can use to save the lives of yourself and your students if an attack has started.  Throughout the training, the advice and techniques discussed will teach you how to apply the skills both while at school and in your personal life.  We hope you enjoy this training and share the valuable information you learn with your family and friends!

Target Audience

Educational Faculty and Staff, primarily middle school thru college

This course will empower learners to be prepared to prevent or survive violence in their lives, with a specific focus on active shooter/active assailant events at school.
