Course Overview
Your safety and that of your team, colleagues and peers is very important. This 30 minute module will introduce you to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) so you and the people you work with can stay safe. This interactive module incorporates audio and assessments.
Learning Objectives
After completing the module, you’ll be able to:
- Explain why WHS is important to you, your colleagues, the workplace and community;
- Explain what specific WHS obligations you have as a team member; Identify hazards in an office environment and make logical assumptions about related tasks and complete a hazard report;
- Respond appropriately to an WHS incident;
- Follow the relevant procedures and respond appropriately when faced with an emergency situation;
- Setup your workstation in a safe, comfortable and ergonomically responsible way.
