Safeguarding Children (N. IRE) Module

Study in detail about the Northern Irish legislation and principles behind safeguarding children.

Safeguarding children involves promoting their welfare by ensuring they grow up in circumstances where their health, development and wellbeing aren’t impaired, as well as taking action to protect them from harm. By the end of this course, you'll be able to recognise signs of abuse, respond to and record disclosures, know how to report a concern, and understand how Northern Irish legislation affects policies and procedures.

In addition to a high quality video, this Module features expanded learning content blocks and a short quiz to check your understanding.
