Course Overview

Title Bar is found at the top of the PowerPoint window and displays the name of the open presentation.

The Ribbon contains all the Commands you will need arranged in Groups on themed Tabs.

You can change Views using the commands on the View tab or the View shortcut buttons on the Status bar at the bottom of the window.

The File tab contains the Backstage View where you can manage your files incorporating all the features of the old File menu and Office button systems.

The Quick Access Toolbar is at the top left of the window and can be customised with the commands you use most often.

Additional Tabs enable you to manage inserted items like the Picture Tools tab which appears to help you edit pictures.

Mini Tool Bars enable you to edit text without having to return to the Home tab each time.
Icon shortcuts appear on slides offering quick ways to perform tasks.
