Mechanisms of skeletal muscle contraction

This 1.5 hour interactive course provides an overview of the mechanisms of muscles and specifically contraction.

Learning Objectives

Participants will learn the basic anatomy of muscles the mechanisms involved in muscle contractions and will be able to identify the anatomical regions of the sarcomere. They will learn the role of adenosine diphosphate in muscle contraction.
