This video lesson is part of the “HR Law Toolkit,” which gives learners the resources they need to adhere to federal laws that apply to their organization. In this lesson, viewers will learn who counts as a qualified beneficiary, what counts as a qualifying event, and who’s responsible for paying COBRA coverage. Learners will also come to recognize how long COBRA coverage is available and when termination can occur.
