How Do Strengths Power us Up?

Seven Dimensions
Updated Apr 16, 2020

Kylie Bell observes that simply doing tasks that use our strengths makes us more engaged, motivated, happy and healthier. Undertaking tasks which use our strengths (eg. talents, proficiencies) is very good for wellbeing. Kylie Bell tells Eve Ash we become more engaged, invigorated, motivated and this in turn contributes to a reduction in stress and depression, and an increase in happiness, satisfaction and better health. Strengths are not necessarily the same as things we are interested in, but when we combine our interests and our strengths, we are using our natural energy resources.

This program is one of the Insights and Strategies Series, featuring psychologist Eve Ash interviewing a range of experts and business leaders who share their experiences and practical strategies for achieving best practice.
