Kylie Bell adds H” (for Health) in PERMA because being physically healthy helps us perform better at work and is strongly linked to mental and emotional health. Kylie discusses adding H to Seligman’s PERMA, because health is indispensable to wellbeing. Physical health, says Kylie, is linked to our mental health. Workplaces are gradually realizing the benefits of promoting exercise, sleep and mindfulness. There is even recognition that social media impacts on people’s physiology as well as emotional wellbeing.
