Financial Policy Committee (FPC)

A key lesson from the financial crisis was that there needed to be one entity ultimately responsible for financial stability in the UK, and this entity could coordinate all other regulatory bodies. This entity is known as the Financial Policy Committee (FPC). We discuss its establishment, its role and objectives. We then examine how it will work with other institutions including international institutions.
