Federal Reserve (The Fed)

The establishment of the US Federal Reserve (the Fed) and the responsibilities subsequently transferred to it are explored. We discuss the structure of the Fed, the Board of Governors and the federal reserve banks that implement monetary policy on behalf of the Board of Governors. Finally we look at those that come under the regulation of the Fed.
