Social awareness is about appropriately considering what people want and then communicating with them in a way that is most likely to fulfil need. In this course, we focus on empathy (understanding the other person's emotions, needs and concerns), Organisational awareness (you need to understand the organisation structures and how they affect the people working in them) and Service orientation (understanding and fulfilling the needs of internal and external clients and customers.
