Course Overview

A box is a set of preconceived ideas we all have when thinking about a problem. Learning to think outside the box, as Peter Quarry and Eve Ash agree, is breaking beyond one’s narrow view of existing approaches. This requires looking at the issue from a different perspective – known as reversal.

Peter Quarry explains how learning to think outside the box (go beyond your assumptions) is a core ingredient for creativity.

Learning Objectives

Thinking outside the box means:

  • Identifying your assumptions
  • Challenging them
  • Turning assumptions into actions
