Course description

In this course we’ll start out by talking about SOHO networks. SOHO is an acronym for Small Office Home Office. We’ll cover many of the considerations you must consider when setting up a SOHO network. Next we’ll cover laptops including parts, performance, and other factors to keep in mind. Then we’ll move on to mobile devices, including specific types, configuration and other items of interest. Then we’ll finish off the course with Printers, any network will need to have a print. We’ll cover MFD, Multi Function Device printers, how printers work including laser to dot matrix.

Each LearnNowOnline training course is made up of Modules (typically an hour in length). Within each module there are Topics (typically 15-30 minutes each) and Subtopics (typically 2-5 minutes each). There is a Post Exam for each Module that must be passed with a score of 70% or higher to successfully and fully complete the course.

Prerequisites

This course assumes the user has little to experience with computer hardware or software. The user should have viewed the “CompTIA A+ Certification: Networking Technologies” course before starting on this course.
