Course Description

Career IGNITE  MENTEE is a structured journey for mentees, paired with Career IGNITE  MENTOR which creates a guided conversation between mentee and mentor based on our philosophy that we want to understand style difference and embrace that difference. How do we help a mentee develop their own path based on a journey that plays to THEIR strengths, rather than conforming to the way things are done around here!

This structure enables MENTOR and MENTEE to interact on set topics  while being encouraged to really understand each other on a deeper level. The structure ensures good discussions and support regardless of commonality, mentor expertise and chemistry between pairs! No additional training on the mentoring process required for mentor or mentee  its baked into the program.

This is a great way for ANY mentee to grow and develop  particularly of the mentee doesnt feel like they always FIT. This works well for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and other diversity and inclusion mentoring programs  with growth and learning, underpinned my inclusive leadership principles, for the mentor and mentee.

We have chosen topics for the MENTEEs journey intentionally based on our experience of running mentoring programs for over 35,000 people worldwide. All of our programs are underpinned by the principles of INCLUSION  which means that the focus is on the MENTEE bringing his/her uniqueness to the table. The supporting program for MENTORS  focuses on mentors really stepping into the MENTEEs shoes.

Each of the topics in the mentees journey will challenge the mentees thinking and open the door to great conversations (with scripts and question ideas) with mentors and managers. Three steps to success as a MENTEE
