Employers are required to provide qualified employees with up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave under FMLA to deal with a serious health condition. Unfortunately, many employers believe there is no defense against those who abuse it. This is not the case, especially with employees posting their comings and goings on sites such as Facebook.
