Course Overview

Working with difficult children and teens doesn't have to be so difficult. This 10 hour online course is packed with 200 use-now solutions for emotional, social and school problems including defiance, school failure, aggressiveness, anger issues, refusal to work in school, delinquency, ADD, ADHD, Asperger's, disrespect and more.


 Target Audience

Teachers, counselors, principals, paraprofessionals, youth pastors, social workers, family therapists, juvenile court workers, juvenile justice staff, foster parents, and anyone who works with or parents a hard-to-manage teen or child aged 5 and up.


Learning Objectives

  • Provide approximately 70 strategies to turn around Coping/Emotional problems including violence, anger issues, tantrums, depression, withdrawal, family problems and self-control concerns.
  • Provide approximately 70 strategies to turn around School problems including poor motivation, refusal to work, tardiness, absenteeism, discouragement, disrespect to teachers, problem behavior in the classroom and apathy.
  • Provide approximately 70 strategies to turn around Social problems including difficulty with peer interaction skills, authority issues, hygiene, grooming, opposite-gender interaction skills, acting-out behavior and personal space and distance
  • Teach participants basic mental health terminology and how to best assist children and teens coping with a variety of mental health issues
  • Give participants an in-depth understanding of what causes problem behavior and which techniques to use that will work better than current methods
  • Teach participants a total of 200 targetted, innovative, more effective strategies to prevent or manage Coping, School and Social problems.

Business Outcomes

Teachers will be far better behavior managers, better prepared to prevent and manage students' behavioral, social and school problems.
