Bond Pricing: Basics

A bond can be thought of little more than an IOU. Here we discuss all the features that can typically be associated with a regular bond. We look at the forms it can take, what is meant by its principal/face value, and how cash flows are made to investors in the bond. Finally we look at the types of bond and how we would go about calculating the price of a bond.
