Launch your content to market to start generating engagement with learners

Overview

This guide demonstrates the process of getting your recently built content live to customers, so you can begin gathering learner engagement and revenue via the Go1 ecosystem. By following the steps of this guide – you will have your content reviewed against the Go1 launch standards and released into the predetermined market (as indicated by the signed Go1 agreement).

Why the content launch procedure is required

When launching your content into the Go1 ecosystem, there are technical and professional requirements that must be met for this to be successful.

Firstly, a content review process with be undertaken to ensure your content works as expected in the Go1 environment. Secondly, the Go1 team will complete some backend requirements to ensure your content is distributed to the correct market successfully and as efficiently as possible.

How it works

The content launch process is simple and efficient and can be summarised in the following steps:

  1. Reach out to the dedicated partnerships team, to inform them you have finished the content onboarding
  2. The internal Go1 team will conduct a content review process
  3. If successful, the internal Go1 team will complete the necessary steps to launch your content to market and inform you once complete
Preparation

Before we begin the process, please ensure that all the minimum requirements for content (as indicated in the ‘Author your content’ section) have been met and you have ensured that your content is launching and operating as expected.

Content review and launch process

Step 1. Submit your content to Go1 for review

Once you have completed the content onboarding/integration, and you are satisfied you have met all the requirements outlined in the ‘Author your content’ section, simply reach out to the dedicated partnerships team at partnerships@go1.com, to inform them you are ready to progress to the next stage.

Once informed, your content will undertake a review process by the internal Go1 content support team. The content review process assesses various aspects of your content to ensure it meets the necessary thresholds we have, to maintain the world’s best content library. The specific items that are reviewed include:

  • Does the content meet the Go1 minimum metadata standard?
  • Does the content launch successfully?
  • Does the content complete successfully?
  • Does the content include any profanity or unprofessional content?

 Once the content has passed the content review process, the team will then progress to launching the content live to customers.

Step 2. Content launch to market

Go1 offers a number of different markets available for you to contribute to. As part of the Content Provider terms, you will have agreed to provide your content to an agreed market accessible via Go1 (the most common of which is the Global Premium subscription offering).

The Go1 team will then work to ensure your content is launched as efficiently and effectively as possible to this agreed market. Upon completion, you will receive an email from the partnerships team, notifying you that the content is now live, and how you can monitor your consumption and generate invoices to gain revenue.
