All training is tailored to suit and run in house for small groups of 20 staff or larger groups on request. As such the requested fee is for a single booking and not per person. We run training Australia wide and have a highly qualified team of training associates who all have a great deal of experience presenting to organisations within Australia on issues pertaining to occupational violence.

Course Overview

Baton Handling & Control Training (BT) is aimed at staff who work with the public in the Local Laws & Animal Management sector, who may be exposed to verbal or physical aggression or violence. In this workshop the following will be covered: assessing risk and minimising risk, baton handling, incident reporting, padwork & striking drills. Along with learning how to defuse a situation before it escalates out of control.

Participants will be taught a range of techniques to keep everyone safe. Training can be tailored to suit police, security and other protective agencies.
